Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to CSUEB's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!

Has anyone heard about any movement on the waitlist or has anyone not accepted the offer at East Bay for a program somewhere else?

I'm also waiting to hear about the waitlist. Nothing yet though.

Hello! I was originally on the waitlist but today I received an email that confirmed my acceptance to the program. I am planning on accepting for the time being, but I'm waiting to hear back from SF State because I want to continue being a student there.

That's what I'm sayinggggggg. But it's definitely a blessing to be accepted into any school.

Hi, although I accepted EB's offer, but I will for sure cancel my EB's enrollment once I get my official offer from sfsu (I already got sfsu nursing department's offer). So, soon there is at least one spot will open. Good luck!

Make sure you check your inbox cuz I got offered admission but did not see the email from school in time to accept it. You'll only have few days to accept the offer.

I applied for "Spring 24" last year in Aug. I got the wait list email on Oct 20th with 35 people on the waitlist with (upper third, middle third or lower third. And I was in the lower third. They sent me an acceptance email on June 1 with three days to decide whether to accept or decline.

Oh man, I hope you got in to a program somewhere! That sounds super upsetting 😣

Yeah Thanks. Good luck to you too. I finally got accepted into EB with 3.6 GPA, bilingual, 80.3% TEAS. When I spoke to someone from the nursing department, last time when I was not accepted, they told me to focus more on my time on my personal statement. If your GPA is above 3.5 and TEAS is above 80% you get full points for both on their point system. So it really comes down to your, work experience, volunteer work, bi-linguistics and personal statement.
