Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I would like to know too. I certainly have not and they cashed my check 2nd week of Feb.

I would love to hear of someone whose check was cashed in Feb and has their license, because then that means I should be next! Flying out Saturday morning to visit!!

i sent in my app, fingerprint card, and payment on 3/25 (post office confirms it was delivered on 3/28) but unfortunately i'm still waiting for the check to be cashed. registered on the breeze site, but it states "no license information available".

i called and spoke with a friendly rep who told me that their turnaround time for simply cashing a check is currently around 6 weeks. she also informed me the breeze site will not list any info until the check is cashed. unfortunately, she had no way to confirm if my envelope had indeed been received and is sitting in a stack or if it's lost. super frustrating to say the least.

Don't get too excited about getting it handled any time soon... I sent in my application via priority mail on 1/15/14... my check has never been cashed. I've called in half a dozen times, with a 45 minute wait each time, only to be told to "be patient". Today I was told that it must have been lost... that I need to do my livescan again, and request all my license paperwork and transcripts again. Lesson is get delivery confirmation with signature, because even though my priority mail delivery confirmation shows it was scanned in, they won't do anything about it AND I'm back to the end of the list... again.

Hey guys I have a question. I'm in the process of filling out all my paperwork for endorsing my Washington licence to California. I want to do the live scan because I think it will be the fastest route to go. Am I able to fly to California to do the livescan even if I'm living in washinton??

Christiney, I just got back to IL from California yesterday and did Livescan while I was there. It's no problem at all. Make sure you have the forms and your driver's license!

Did you do the livescan then send in all the paperwork to the BON or you did you send in the paperwork from home and just did the livescan in CA.

I sent all the paperwork in with fingerprint cards first, but since I hadn't heard anything I did livescan as well while I was out there. And just an update for everyone....I logged on Breeze just now and my permanent license number was issued today! So they cashed my check Mar 18 so that's 5 weeks and 3 days total.

Do you think it was the livescan that made a difference or 5 wks is more or less the standard time for getting the license.

It made a difference, because I called the automated line at the DOJ and after I put in my information it said that my fingerprint results were sent to the board of nursing yesterday...I just had livescan done on Tuesday afternoon!
