For all of you who live in California don't fret about how long it takes to get your results back ( easier said than done, right ? ) I took the NCLEX on July 12th and when I did I ran into a girl from my class. Well, I left feeling that awful, sinking, feeling that you get, like I totally bombed! I kept hearing 23 days, 19 days, and 2 weeks people were getting their results so I thought they were going to come any day, right? So, for almost 4, agonizing weeks I waited to get my results. Last Wed, (3 weeks to the day) I called and they told me they had just processed my results THAT DAY!! So, I thought I would get my results either Sat or Mon/Tues. I heard yesterday ( they didn't come!!) that my classmate who had taken hers the same day as me and who lives in the same city that I do, had gotten hers on Mon !! What gives?? So, I called again, only to be told that they had been processed LAST WED!! So, long story short (and many sleepless- NOT KIDDING_ nights) I finally got them today and.... I PASSED!!!!!! So, maybe this will make some of you feel just a little bit better I hope about the disasterous long wait for your results. hi there! im new here. i took the california nclex-rn in saipan last july 13, 2006 and until now, i don't have the results yet. how long (or longest?) is the waiting time for the release of the results? im presently right here in the philippines and am now worried about my results. should i call them to follow-up my results? can i just email them? will they entertain me if i call them over the phone? please help!
anybody who had the same problem, please provide me the contact numbers of the california board of registered nursing! is it really ok to call them? thank you very much!
OH WOW.. I KNOW HOW YOU ARE FEELING BUT IF YOU ARE ON VACATION YOU SHOULD JUST LET TIME PASS AND WAIT.. IF YOU DWELL IT WILL TAKE LONGER AND LONGER. I THINK IF YOU CALL THE BOARDS THEY WILL TELL A LIE. THEY TOLD ME THAT MY RESULTS HAS NOT BEEN PREOCESSED AND THEN THE DAY AFTER I GOT MY RESULTS. . SOME OF THEM ARE OKAY AND SOME OF THEM ARE USLESS. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. I FAILED MORE THAN 3XS. .AND JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH DAYS AND WEEKS I HAD TO PUT UP WITH IT. .ITS VERY DEVASTATING. IT MAKES ME FEEL DOWN . BUT I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE.

1. They are not permitted to give you results over the phone.
2. The LVN license is not handled by the Board of Registered Nursing.
3. Foriegn RNs that take the exam know that it is approximately 4 weeks until they receive their letter in the mail. Without a SSN#, they will never see results on the CA BRN website.

I too live in CA and it took 4 whole weeks to find out that I passed. I swear this is the truth- so those of you in CA who know of people who find out that they passed in 2-4 days by seeing license online (I too knew of several friends who found out in just a few days,which added GREATLY to my stress!), be assured that it can take WEEKS and it doesn't mean that you failed. It just means that you might have to suffer longer to find out...so to those who are still waiting after 2-4 weeks, hang in there!!!!!! (Also, if its longer than 3 weeks, make sure you call the BRN/BON to inquire as to why the holdup, just in case its fingerprint or transcript related) Two things seem to be true: the number of questions is not related to likelihood of pass/fail, and neither is the length of the waiting time to get results!!!! (at least for CA)

I just wrote mine in Minnesota yesterday...it cut me off at 75 questioins....is this good or bad...the brochure says it doesn't mean anything. I am transferring to California once I succeed... Wish me luck
I took my nclex last may 24, 07,the comp shut off at 75 and i only have 1 select all that apply is that mean, i missed it...or i failed...I have lots of priority...but my last question was easy...dont know what to do still dont have the results!!!

I am a little confused as profile says Nepal and you are saying you have given then your SSN. Are you already in the US?
