I was on probation with CA Board of Registered Nursing. I got released from probation 11 months early. In addition, I got accepted to the MSN-FNP program and will start in Fall 2021. Life is good! There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Every state and almost every county, and surely, every major city or average size small city has a health clinic/primary care/outpatient medical clinic that serves underserved/low income populations. They exist in 50 states. This is where you will find a job. Google low income medical clinics or underserved population medical clinics in Northern California. There are a lot of them. Here's an example for an LPN or RN case manager and case manager trainee. I found 15 jobs within a 5 minute search by searching the words I gave above. I will post 1 of the 15.
Hello, does any body know where I can take classes related to fraud, and code of conduct. I will apply for early termination, but I still need to take a few classes. I tried multiple sites and I can't find much related to fraud, I did two but I need one more. Also code of conduct it keeps on taking me to nursing ethics which I completed, but my monitor said she can't suggest any classes. Please let me know if you guys know where I can take this classes, is the only thing holding me back from submitting early termination petition.
Thank you!

Call the BON directly and not your monitoring program/case manager. The BON compliance office/division will have that info.

Supervisiom includes daily in person check ins at the start of shift, supervisor accompanying me on a visit once every 2 weeks for the first 3 months (then frequency goes down to monthly), and daily phone calls to supervisor at least 2 hrs prior to the end of my shift. There are job options other than SNF but it truly depends on the RN's situation that led to probation, status in the program, etc. Just FYI. There is another Probationary RN at my work as well. I also know of two others who recently applied and were either not offered the position or not allowed to do the position, so it definitely varies.
Do you know if you take a vacation during your six consecutive months, do you have to start over? Or does that month doesn't count ?

I asked my probation monitor this while on probation and he said if you take vacation, doesn't affect it. I literally took a week off almost every month for 8 months for baby bonding during that time (yep, I got pregnant and gave birth while on probation. Good times. LOL). So yes, like a normal person, you can take vacation and it should not affect anything. I also had 6 weeks of excused drug testing after I gave birth. I didn't have to make up this time, like some people (at the time) were telling me would probably happen.

Thank you so much for this information. I was Worried that month wouldn't count. And it would be extended.

Yes. But it depends on what led to your probation. I was able to secure a job doing home health hospice while on probation, but I didn't have a DUI nor legal charges (not sure if you have these), and it was allowable in my probation order/contract.
