  1. Hi Luna 2025, I surrendered my RN license for a year, and got a masters degree in science, which I did used, the pay is not that good. Anyways, I had 4 lawyers in total, and what I learned is that if you get any other license it will affect regardless of what it is, because when you apply it will ask if you have any license revoked or suspended before. Also to get in the OIG list is usually for fraud, if you did any type of fraud to medical or, if it was a serious issue. In my case I was not placed on the OIG list. I got my license back and currently working. I did all the paperwork and represented myself to get my license back, because I was broke, if your issue is not too serious do the paperwork yourself I spend a lot of money. I learned a lot of the lawyers give you false help, then just tell you to surrender. Make sure you do your own research.
  2. Oh k. Same with me. But at least that's a good thing, because we don't have to do hearing. I hope they have more staff now.
  3. Yes, I just got the letter if it was send on May 20, it took 3 months for them to send it to the OAG. I just got the letter today. You are still waiting? that's a long time. Are you getting a stipulated settlement too.?
  4. Hello everyone, I submitted my package for early termination of probation, on February 24, 2025. I just received a letter today that my package was sent to the OAG, for a stipulated settlement.! Does anyone know, how long it takes for the AOG to complete the settlement.? I basically wait almost 4 months to get to this point. I'm just hoping it does not take too long.

  6. Good luck I hope you get a decision soon. I will post here too, as soon as they send me an update. I submitted my application in February, but it was just send to the AG on March.
  7. Oh no! Is frustrating, I hope they hire more people soon. I went through this about two years ago, when they were short of probation monitors, it took forever for them to approve my employment forms.
  8. I will post when I get an update.
  9. Hi, did you hear back from them? I'm waiting too. The last update I got is that it was send to the probation monitor for review and then it will be send to the AG, that was on 3/18/2025. I'm still waiting for an update.
  10. It depends, because , you are supposed work at least 24 hrs, weekly. I didn't take any vacation the first 6 months. If you can try to wait until, your six months are over. In case they ask you for your schedule, you don't want to be out of compliance.
  11. Hello, does any body know where I can take classes related to fraud, and code of conduct. I will apply for early termination, but I still need to take a few classes. I tried multiple sites and I can't find much related to fraud, I did two but I need one more. Also code of conduct it keeps on taking me to nursing ethics which I completed, but my monitor said she can't suggest any classes. Please let me know if you guys know where I can take this classes, is the only thing holding me back from submitting early termination petition. Thank you!
  12. There is a place in Bakersfield called Valley Convalescent Hospital, that may hire you. Also there is a place in Porterville called Gateway Post Acute.
  13. Good morning Tuatukta, What area are you at North, South, or Central California?
  14. Hello Helen, I surrendered my license after paying four different lawyers and spending over $40,000 on lawyers. What I learned is that some lawyers will give you hope just to make money, once the board decides that they don't want any settlement, most likely they will not change their mind even if you go the hearing. I surrendered my license for a year, and was allowed to apply for reinstatement after a year. The paperwork took around a year and three months after I applied. I got my license back, but was placed on probation for three years. My case was not reletated to substance abuse. It was due to attempting fraud for lying on an application to the BRN. From a lot of the cases I read if it was due to substance abuse if you surrender the process can take longer to reinstate the license, but every case is different. Make sure you find out if they have any programs for you before you surrender. Good luck.
  15. Congratulations!! Emma
