California bound?

Published

Just curious as to how many of you are scheduled to work in California and which part of the state? And expected timeframe for arriving here?

I am thinking of putting together some type of welcome brochure to give you additional specifics for working over here.

Thanks in advance............. :)

I have signed a contract to Alameda County. Hoping to be there with my family by late next year or perhaps early 2007.

hi suzanne, nice to see you back. I am due to come to the states in january and am open to suggestions, california being one of them, so yes I would be interested in any info that you are able to pass on, just because I have never been there. so dont know much about different areas.

thanks christine

What type of climate do you want? Beaches, vineyards, mountains, lakes, about anything is available. What specialty? Are you going to go independent or thru an agency?

hi suzanne, done the beach thing for 18 months, work for ogp as you probably know and have signed with onassignment and am applying with rn network as well. but wanting to go with OA. I do surgical....which includes everything as they dont have any other floors here apart from medical, ICU and post partum. so we do ortho gynae and anything else.

been looking at arizona. nevada and cali. OA say that they wont have anything definite for a couple of weeks, but we are open to new experiences. dont really want to to go to a freezing place straight away, its 10pm here and 83 degrees, and that wont change till the morning when it only gets warmer. looking forward to it, wherever we end up, we will just adapt.
