Hey ya'll,

Were you able to get your varicella titer done within the same day, or how long did it take?

@River333, I think your previous post said you got your things done in one day at Medical East, is that right?

I'm upset right now because I went today to do my physical and everything and they couldn't do the varicella titer-- that only thing I need! And with Thanksgiving I can't get any appointment for anything this week! I have to drive up to Al on Thursday, I really don't want to make that trip and not be allowed to register. :cry:

My family doctor drew blood for all of mine at the same time. They had the results in two or three days.

I went to Medical East today to get part one of my TB and the nurse was kinda poopy (insert your own colorful language here) to me. She refused to mark my paperwork even when I kindly pointed out that we are supposed to have it signed off when we receive the injection and when it's read. Who knows...maybe she was bitter that she isn't out shopping on Black Friday. IDK, but I was like WHATEVER I have too much to deal with. Hopefully I will get another nurse or at least a nicer one when I go back to have it read Sunday:yes:. I hope y'all had a Happy Thanksgiving :angrybird3: I'm getting more and more nervous by the day. And @ Jay-Bo I think we had A&P this past summer together!

Well, I thought so too, but when I asked if you went to the Huntsville Campus this past summer, I thought you said you had Micro. I took A&P I and II both this past summer. I had the lady with the funny first name for both. I was thinking you were in my A&P II class. I was thinking you and I talked a few times in the Student Center, also. Anyway, I hope so. That would be great. Do you know if anyone else from our class got in? If you are the same girl I am thinking of, there was a girl named Donna who sat near you who was going to try this time. I think you guys studied alot together.

Ok Jay-Bo I guess we are thinking of each other's doppelganger lol. I took AP I this past summer in Decatur with the lady who use to be a dentist. There was a guy in that class who was bald and said he used to be a paramedic so I thought maybe that was you. The only class I have taken in Huntsville is Microbiology! How funny! Oh well I guess we will all meet each other soon enough!

OK, so I think I have changed my profile pic but not sure if it worked. I am only going to leave it like that for a couple days so yall take a look at it and come and say HI at orientation. If it didn't work, disregard everything I just said! Haha! See ya!

So much for being finished with registration! I checked today and my schedule has been deleted..Oh well, guess I will re-do Friday.

Weird thing is, when I go into 'Look Up Classes' the boxes are there to mark for choosing classes, and the boxes are gone for the classes that I choose in Nov when I first registered. That is what happens when you are scheduled for the class....and it shows seats taken in several classes. (NO classes are full that I see)

But alas, I have no schedule. It simply states "You are not registered for Spring 2015"

So weird...I'm not gonna mess with it, best to wait for the advisor appt.....And deep cleansing breath....AHHHHH

They probably did that because you have not been to orientation or turned in your medical paperwork to be qualified to register.

Those ^%$&*(*&^^%% :roflmao: they figured us out lol! Now I am having a slight panic attack because I can't have my last TB skin test until Friday so I'm sure they won't let me register and I just got a job and gave them my availability. That's what I get for not following the rules. Oh well like you said River333, deep breaths. NO EMAIL either! And Jay-Bo I have tried to change my picture a bunch of times but it won't let me do it. So y'all get CancerMadonna for my icon forever I guess lol. On a more positive note does anyone know what kind of nursing they hope to go into? I think I want to do ICU/CCU and eventually HIV/AIDS nursing. I would like to eventually become a NP.

I didn't expect you guys to change yours. But it is the avatar you have to change, not the profile pic. I am thinking I am interested in O.R. But I have heard good and bad things about it. I still look forward to trying some different things in clinicals.
