Anyone applying for Calhoun's nursing program this fall? I am and I am really anxious and excited!!!
I do feel the SAME way. It is totally different than A&P so my study technique had to change as well. Not sure if I have that figured out yet. About to take my first exam so hopefully it will help to know how to adjust. Are you going to class or taking it online? I have taken all my classes online so far.
I think a lot of it depends on your teacher. I had one on the Huntsville campus that was awful in my opinion but some people like her teaching style. I dropped it then took Micro online and made an A. Most of the problem with learning it is how well they explain it and how much time the instructor spends on topics. I did A&P 2 as a summer class and it was hard but doable. Summer classes are great but if you do take a hard class I would probably only take 1-2 classes total.
I'm taking it at the Huntsville campus. I took A&P I last summer on campus alongside another class and my grade was not what I wanted it to be, so I retook it in the fall. Nickie Effie, who I took A&P I & II with was a wonderful teacher, unlike my previous A&P 1 summer teacher. I'm with Ansardi for summer and it's my ONLY class because I'm a scardy cat to fail lol.

That is a good score! I heard some people scored in the 50's or others retaking it for the 2nd or 3rd time. Plus you have good grades in sciences. ALSO since your an LPN you probably have all prerequisites done? Don't sweat it!
