Anyone planning on applying to the Spring 2011, CSUSM, accelerated ABSN program? Just wondering if there is anyone else out there:)
Hmmm, or maybe trying to work out living arrangements. :) I'm rethinking the whole commuting idea...not sure if it would be a great idea, especially since I was thinking of taking two trains (Coaster and Sprinter) there. Those might not be flexible toward my schedule when clinicals start up and all.
I also got accepted for Fall 2010, but I am declining their offer so those of you still waiting may still have a chance! I've decided to attend Azusa Pacific University's EENAP program in San Diego instead.
Good luck to everyone!
has anyone heard any news on acceptance letters for Fall 2010?
Yep! If you go back a couple of pages, you'll see that a few people (myself included) have received news of their acceptance. I completed my application file about a month ago and received an acceptance letter within the next week or so. So if you've also done the same recently, you should probably hear news soon as well. I'm not sure if there is still room in the Fall 2010 cohort though so you should probably ask anyway. My counselor told me that they wanted about 44 students in the class and the deadline to accept my admission offer was June 28. Just keep in touch with your counselor...they're very helpful. :)
I too haven't heard from CSUSM for Fall 2010. It really bothers me that schools don't either say simply that you are in or out. With classes set to start toward the end of August that doesn't give the rest of us much time to move, etc. if we get accepted. My advisor told me, last week, that the cohort is not full yet. I hope we hear news either way. Please don't let this be another SDSU online program disaster

Hi all! I also received my acceptance letter for the Fall 2010 cohort. Im so relieved and excited! Is anyone else planning on taking out private loans? I would work during the program if i could, but from what ive read and heard, the program is so intense that working is not an option.
Maybe ill just continue working up until the second semester when the real nursing classes start. Anyhow, congratulations for those who got in!! Looking forward to meeting everyone! :)
