Anyone planning on applying to the Spring 2011, CSUSM, accelerated ABSN program? Just wondering if there is anyone else out there:)
Hey Tiffinie! One of the girls in our class is going down to check out houses this weekend :-) There are now 5 of us which is great because that means it will be cheap hopefully! We've all been communicating through email but we need yours so we can link you up and you can give us your input. If you want to just email me at [email protected] I can forward you everything so far and get your email to the other girls. Talk to you soon!

Hi everyone! Congrats to everyone who is joining Temecula! I haven't been up here in a little while and I can't believe how many post there are! If there is 5 of you needing to rent, let me know if you guys want to live in Wolf Valley. It is down the street from the Temecula CSUSM location and I have lived here for 3 years. It is a really nice location and all the homes are new and big. There are a lot of homes to rent.
Hello again everyone!
I'm planning on heading down to Temecula soon to check out the housing. I'm leaning more towards the housing than apartments....whichever is cheaper! I'm still looking for roommates so if you're interested, please shoot me an email: [email protected]. Hopefully I'm not too late to jump on this housing bandwagon! =X Have a great day!

Hi. I was just accepted to the ABSN Spring 2011 Cohort 9 about a month ago in Dec. The CSUMentor online app is for applying to the school (CSUSM) itself i believe (i guess so they have you in their campus system). The way I understand it is that you have been accepted considering you complete the required courses at csusm & and send your transcripts for your in-progress courses once they're done.
I just applied to CSUMentor about 2 weeks ago (my deadline was Jan 3, i think). I've been getting emails from the advisors on what to do next, etc. & I've just received the email for my orientation date, which is on Jan 13, 8a-12p at the Temecula campus(I was reading stuff online and I think we are to bring our pre-req evaluations that they sent us, verify for yourselves).
I am also looking for housing!! Anyone looking for a female apt/house-mate in Temecula, I am available!? I would like to have my own bed & bathrooms, but would like to share the rent of a house or apt. Email me at [email protected]... I am not familiar with the area, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Congrats to those who were accepted & good luck to those who are waiting!
Hi! I found this website yesterday and I am surprised to see so many people here :) I got accepted to the program back in October to the Temecula campus and I am excited that school is almost starting! I hope I am not too late, but I am also looking for housing. I live in Orange County, but was going to commute from my sister's house in Riverside. But I came to the conclusion that for me, it's still a bit far from school So I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on housing, like what areas are nice, inexpensive, etc. I'm thinking of an apartment or a house with other classmates (though I might be late on the house search), and would like my own bedroom. If anyone still needs a roommate, or has any information, feel free to share :) Hope to see everyone at orientation!

Hi everyone!!!
I'm also going to be attending the Temecula campus this Spring. I just wanted to know if anyone has bought their books yet? Is there a way we can contact 2nd year nursing students to see if we can buy their books for this first semester?? Or is everyone just buying the books from the campus bookstore? Thanks!!! Can't wait to meet all of you!
OMG i was just offered spring admission to Temecula at the last minute however i had to decline. Financially it's just not feasible right now. I was hoping for fall admission anyways. To all those starting next week, good luck. Maybe I'll see you all later on this year :) fingers crossed!
