Anyone planning on applying to the Spring 2011, CSUSM, accelerated ABSN program? Just wondering if there is anyone else out there:)

Hey there Tiffinie- Actually I wrote my date wrong, it is the Jan 13th from 8-12, so we will see each other. I do need to the CSUmentor thing b4 the 8th.

I will keep you updated on the house, there is also another house on my street for rent for a 3 bedroom, but one of the rooms is a Master (and it is huge!) so two people could probably share that room. When it gets closer and you know how many you have just email me [email protected] and I can help.

I also got accepted into the Spring Cohort 2011 and I am pretty excited! I read your posts about needing a roommate. Please let me know if you ladies would need a 4th roommate. Im hoping to move down in Jan as well perhaps before the orientation. I also look forward to meeting everyone during orientation! :)

Hi Everybody!

I have been accepted to the ABSN program cohort 8 :) I am on the San Marcos campus and looking to rent somewhere in the area. Because we have clinical sites further south and coastal, I am looking to rent more centrally such as Poway, Rancho Santa Fe, Miramesa etc. Anyone else in the same boat, looking for a roommie? :) I have a small 12lbs dog who is very friendly and potty trained (she's 4yo). Is anyone applying for spring 2012 and does anyone know someone already in the program? Just wondering how intense it is and how they like the program. I read in another thread how the person thinks it's a disorganized and what not.

Hi Everyone! I just got word that I'll be joining the 8th cohort in Temecula! :) I'm also looking to move and am interested in having roommates to split rent etc! I'm super excited!

Ive been researching on housing, getting a house would be the cheapest i would say 400 dollars per person or less (not including utilities). There are houses that are 4 or 5 bedrooms. Renting a house costs around 1200-1500 depending on how nice it is. Apartments are an option but there are some shady areas where people break into cars in the parking lot. I would definitely suggest renting a house.
