Hi, everyone!

Hoping to get a conversation going with other students who are applying to the Spring 2017 San Marcos cohort at Cal State; I'm from out of state and hoping to get some more information on how applications are going for all of you! I'm taking the TEAS soon and finishing up pre-reqs this upcoming quarter, my application will be in by Late July with updated transcripts sent in mid- August! Hopefully that won't hurt my chances of getting in to this cohort, any thoughts? Thanks!!

Congratulations to you! I just got accepted yesterday too. I have been trying to make a payment and it asks Parent Pin and Password. Can you tell me how you make a payment. Thanks.

Congrats on your acceptance as well! :) When I made my payment it did not ask for a parent pin and password. I can't go back on my student center to see the exact steps but I can try and give you instructions as best as my memory can recall.

When you click accept admission it will show a link to make an enrollment deposit. When you click that link it opens up a window for SmartPay. I clicked the link for enrollment deposit and then the link to make a payment to Extended Learning. Then I selected enrollment for Spring $150 and added it to "my basket." Then I just checked out and added my credit card info.

Now on my student center the status of my application says "Submitted Intent to Enroll." Hopefully that helps you in some way. :cat: I'm going to try and start a Facebook group for our cohort. :laugh:

On the Facebook search bar try typing "CSUSM ABSN." A drop down of similar groups should show up, hopefully you'll be able to find "CSUSM ABSN COHORT 27." If you are unable to find it I can always add you using your email that is linked to your Facebook account. :)

Sorry you've been having trouble finding the FB page. :( The only other option I can think of is adding you by your email address. I have not received an email either since paying my enrollment deposit. The only confirmation I have on accepting my enrollment is the status of my application on mycsusm, which is "Submitted Intent to Enroll."

Hello everybody,

Congratulations on getting accepted into the 2017 spring program. I got accepted to and am looking forward to meeting y'all in our classes. Does anyone know how long we wait before we get orientation information or what the next steps are?

Hi all! i submitted my application in april, submitted all of my transcripts by may, and received an evaluation two days ago. I emailed my advisor regarding my application since i applied for fall 2016. The advisor informed me that all of the admissions offers had been sent already, so i would be rolled over to spring. However, he didn't specify a timeline. I have an evaluation of 32 points( 85.3 TEAS, 3.7 last 60 units, 3.46 pre-nursing core). I am hoping to hear back soon and join you all. One of my main concerns as well is housing if i am offered admission. I would like to hear feedback regarding everyones housing situation. Thanks :)
