Hi, everyone

wanted to know how many of you here are applying to cal state east bay program for the fall of 2012? i know the application doesn't open for another week, but i'm already really nervous about it. for those of you who applied last year what does the application consist of (the supplemental)? any essays?

I have also not taken my teas yet, i know the final day to submit our scores is feburary 15 for the teas. i have bought a few review books one directly from ati and a few from amazon to prepare for the test.

I would really love to get in the program since my other option is USF which is really costly.

anybody else here is going to apply or is studying for the teas test?

My over all GPA so far is 3.79... and it will improve the end of this sememster, im taking my last 2 pre reqs this semester.

what teas score do you think i need to know im granteed to get in?

tell me your stats, lets make freinds and prepare to apply.

thanks,

NIA

I forgot to mention that I attended the community college near by. That was also to my advantage I imagine.

Have all of you already been accepted into the University? I still haven't been notified and it would suck to not be able to go to the nursing program just because I didn't get into the school. What can/should I do to expedite this process?

I was accepted into the school a couple of months back.

Hi 1waitingpatiently,

I just got the acceptance email from SON yesterday, too. :) What's a blessing? I wonder if you're gonna go to Hayward campus. I live in Fremont, so it's definitely my first choice.

I didn't get any email, or snail mail, about the Admission Office decision to the school, but today, when I logged in into MyCSUEB, and clicked on the Admission Status, it said I have been admitted to the school, and my application file is complete. I think you should check it out, too. Good Luck!

Hope you chose CSUEB over SJSU, so we would be classmates ^ ^.

I just checked mine and it's still in review! I'm so frustrated because SJSU needs me to send a intent to enroll and do a background check by may 2. :( I don't want to lose my spot there if I don't get accepted at East bay.

I got put on the wait list. Anybody else in my spot or have any knowledge about what happened on last year's wait list?

I heard somewhere that last year, about 40 people from the wait list got in to the program. Do you know what number you are?

1waitingpatiently,

I called the admission office yesterday right after I got the e-mail and they changed my application status in MyCSUEB today to say that I was admitted into the university. Call them tomorrow!

I didn't get in either :( My GPA was about 3.6 and I got 78 on the teas. I did take the teas twice. I didn't study the first time, the second time I had a scantron error in the math portion, had to re-enter things on the scantron, super stressed on time. All the other sections I did very well on. 80's and 90's the math really brought me down. IDK if I will be able to take the teas again next year for a better score or not? I don't know if I really see a point. I have all A's and B's in my pre-req's. So I think I am left with getting into a CC and transferring to CSU for my BSN? I am so scared because LMC is a lottery and chabot has points, so I figure the same will happen. Whatever is meant to be will be. I'm also thinking about majoring in health sciences... its out of my hands and I did the absolute best I could do.

I really wish they would give us some stats on the points, what the cut off was and how many you recieved, some kind of break down! I'm really curious. I'm also wondering if they took my first TEAS score? I should have used language profiency even though my ASL is some what less then...

Try emailing them to find out what your numbers were. I was thinking of doing it myself just put of curiosity.

Hello, I wish the best for anyone who were not selected , just give it another shot next year, my friend got 66% for Teas V also got accepted too. anyone plan to take wst at csueb? Summer?
