Cal State East Bay acceptance letters for Fall 2010??

Published

My friend and I applied to the nursing program at Cal State East Bay for Fall 2010 and she received her conditional acceptance package to the nursing program today. I on the other hand have only received an email (last week) requesting transcripts for the nursing department even though my application went in before hers. On the website it says that throughout December they will be emailing out requests for transcripts, not acceptance packages, so I was just wondering if I should be worried. Has anybody else received an acceptance or conditional acceptance package?

they give u until may 17 to accept/decline so I am assuming a few days after that lol.

was wondering if anyone is a going into the program as a 2nd bachelors?

I'm getting my bachelor's in August.. at the end of Summer quarter, from CSUEB.

ah nice, i was just worried cause i realized csueb doesn't accept second bachelors applications, and i haven't heard anything back from the university either... don't want to get into the program and not the university

i'm so excited to start this fall! CSUEB was the only program i applied to, so naturally the wait was agonizing! all is well now, good luck to everyone! :D

Hmmmm, to be honest I don't really know how my situation is gonna work out, I need to talk to admissions about it since I am currently a student there and didn't expect to be done in Summer.. so it's not like I re-applied. Hopefully you hear back from them soon!

I got my first bachelors in may 2007 :)

from what they told me, the nursing program accepts 2nd bachelors obviously, even though the university says they they dont....if you're admitted to the nursing program I think us 2nd time a-rounders get a pass.

if that's the case, I'm passing "Go" and collecting my BSN, yeeehaw!

Haha. Good one. I'm curious if the nursing program allows people to defer their entrance till next year? Is that a crazy question?

^I doubt that they defer admissions; however, I've heard about people getting into Samuel Merritt and being able to defer their admissions, so technically it could be possible, but I don't think EB does this.

Nope EB does not defer.

So the big question Concord or Hayward? I am commuting from San Francisco. Anyone else?
