CA NCLEX Takers...How Long For Results?

Hi All,

I am new here and just wanted to see how long it took for the Cali takers to get their results. I know it is supposed to be about a month, but one girl I know got hers in 11 days. I guess I am just trying to see what the average is. I took mine on May 7th and I am going bonkers!

i know here in arkansas we do not have quick results threw pearson, but you will still get results in 48 hours or less though sbon.

HannaBee...I have a feeling that tomorrow is your day! Mine was stamped 'June 2' so I don't know if that is the same as processed. I'll keep checking on you to see!!!

I know this is gonna sound crazy but the man I spoke to at the board of voc nursing - his words were 'they processed your license on June 2nd' not 'they processed your file' - I was going to say something about that but figured they can't tell me if I passed or not, I just thought is was a strange thing to say. I decided, after the phone call, he must have meant 'file' but he said 'license'. I know we don't receive a license until we send in the $$$, so the whole thing confused me and I know I shouldn't read more into it...anyhow

OHHH, that would drive me bonkers!! I would be thinking, "Did he mean to say license or did he say and not know he said it? Did he mean to say...." Yeah, I would be going crazy! Hopefully he was giving you a hint!!

By the way, when you get your letter saying you passed, you have to return that signed with your money, so don't jump around, spinning circles, waving it around in the air and hugging it like I did. Now I have a very wrinkled paper to send back to them. My boyfriend said, "Don't worry. I'm sure they get plenty of those" LOL!

Okay so maybe you can answer my question... I thought that even though we don't have quick results here in CA that you can check for your name on the "license search" for nurses...and you can get that way faster than the letter. Some classmates of mine who graduated in December and took the test in February-ish were talking about looking it up online within the next few days! So when I came onto this forum I was really confused to be honest...

Is it only if you haven't paid yet or...gosh Im confused :) I take mine Monday and really want to know ASAP!!

I thought the same thing too, but apparently that is for RNs. Our names will not appear until after they have received their money.

ohhhh 1 month and still nothing...but the mail hasn't come yet...NCLEX taken May 7th in San Francisco...today: June 7th

is it just me or does it seem everything is more difficult for nurses in Cali? or am I just feeling sorry for myself? :imbar

the mail came, nothing, even though the man at the nursing board said "Saturday at the latest"...how long does it take for mail to go from Sacramento to San Francisco??? I mean SoCalMom took her exam the SAME day (May 7th) and lives in LA and got her results last Wed!

I think there is entirely too much pot smoking in this city...:smokin:

I thought FOR SURE the results would come today...so my life continues, in limbo...:(

Monday? geez that will feel like another WEEK!
