FOR CALIFORNIA NCLEX-PN PASSERS: HOW LONG DID YOU WAIT FOR YOUR NAME TO SHOW UP AT THE BVNPT ONLINE LICENSE VERIFICATION?:confused:

I liked the quote. I can't believe its been over 7weeks. Have you ever been in trouble with the law, tickets, etc. Could they be doing a background check. Well it will be nice to know when you receive that letter.:)

minor mistdemeanor 15 yrs ago, and 1 small speeding ticket 13 yrs ago- that's it= im going crazy

7weeks, 3 days and still no result in mail

Sally38.... you should be getting your this Wednesday, because when I called last week they were working on April 1st....... I took mine April 8th so I probably won't see mine for another 2 weeks..... Good Luck.

You know...I dont even live in Ca and I am agonizing with you all. What up Ca? I know there is a faster process and frankly Im a bit annoyed that they torture their nurses like that (especially when Pearson knows the result immediately). Anyway, i feel for you all. I remember agonizing for the 72 hours I waited, but I cant imagine 6 weeks. Either way good luck to you and keep your heads up :)

CA is one of the few if not the only state that allows you to sit NCLEX if your file is not complete but you trained in the state and your school sends in notice that you will graduate. They then have to wait for file to be complete before releasing results, this is one of the reasons why it takes so long.

Hopefully this will help everyone in understanding the waiting process in Calif .......

for those that take the VN NCLEX......

I finished my VN program in Dec 09........Decided to study and take a break...Took my VN NCLEX on March 19th 2010. Waited....and waited.....until May 11th when I received my letter stated I passed. Immediately, (same day) I mailed in my $$$ for my license. On Saturday May 22nd I received my ' Shiney Light Blue License!!':nurse:

TOTAL=64 DAYS>>>>>>>>:crying2:

Took the NCLEX-PN in CA on May 21, 2010. I know I'm in for a long wait and I'm already driving myself crazy!! Trying to stay focused and busy but its hard!! My exam stopped @ 85 questions and I have tried the PVT to find some relief. The pearsonvue site will NOT allow me to register for an exam...I've read a lot of other posts that said this is a "good sign", I'm hopeful, but I just don't know. Wish that CA participated in quick results, think its unfair that they dont!! Best wishes to everyone waiting.

I took the NCLEX-PN on April 21 and still waiting for results! It sucks that California doesn't participate in Quick Results and it sucks that they're behind. I am hoping that the PVT trick works because that's the only thing that's keeping me sane these days. So I called the board this morning, was on hold for more than 30 minutes and was told they're processing test results from April 10 and that I have to wait for more than 3 weeks for mine. Ugh!!

See they called board and they processing April 10 so what happened to urs they past ur date and still no result u should call them to find out where ur paper maybe it's loss on the mail so try to find out good luck to u
