  1. Best of luck to you. I'm sure you can do it. I have four kids (all under the age of 8) when I decided to shift gears (Finance to Healthcare). It's a journey, let me tell you. I'm the second oldest in my class (I'm 35) when I started my LVN, just planning to work for a year then go back to finish my RN. If I was able to do it, I'm sure you will too.
  2. When I called Tuesday, they were doing April 21.
  3. Unfortunately, this only works for RNs, LVN test takers have to wait at least 7 weeks for the result. Names are not posted on the website until license has been paid, so with that in mind, it takes about 2 months or so for the whole process (from taking the NCLEX-PN to waiting for the result to applying for the license and waiting for the actual license and get the name posted on the website) to take.=(
  4. Thank you. I took it on April 21.
  5. After 49 days of waiting, I finally got my result. PVT worked and it kept me sane! Thank you also for everyone's support!
  6. Hi. Just wanted everyone to know that PVT worked for me. I took the NCLEX-PN here in CA, went up to 265 questions! Waiting killed me (it took 49 days for me to get the official letter!). Truly the PVT trick kept me sane and of course this site. Thanks everyone!
  7. I called the Board today and was told that they're working on April 15 today, meaning if you take the test on April 21 like I did, you still have about 2 weeks waiting time (considering that this Monday is a holiday and that they're closed on the 1st 3 Fridays of the month).
  8. Three people from my class took the NCLEX-PN first week of April, got the good pop-up from PVT, just learned that they passed. Hopefully, the other two and I (who took the exam third week of April and also got the good pop-up) will have the same fate when we get our official result.
  9. Hi there. The wait for the result is now up to 7 weeks not 4 weeks. I too had the maximum questions of 205. I was depressed afterwards but for the most part, relieved that at least it's over. Have heard of the PVT trick? A lot of people here are saying that it's accurate. At least it will keep you sane for the meantime. Take care and good luck to you.
  10. Congratulations to those who have passed and good luck to those who are still waiting. I hope everyone here gets good news and I hope that we all that "pass" letter in the mail soon. Called the Boards today and they're working on April 14 today and they're open tomorrow, so I guess they'll be working on April 15 and from the posts here it looks like it takes about 2 days after that to get the mail out.
  11. oh okay, thank you.
  12. When did you take your nclex-pn? what does "file in enforcement" mean? i seriously hope that you get your mail tomorrow.
  13. I hear ya. Good luck to both of us and to those that are patiently waiting.
  14. I took the NCLEX-PN and unfortunately there's no other choice but to wait for the snail mail.
