I have been waiting over 3 weeks now and nothing. I called the CA BRN last week and thay said I should see something on the system early this week...and still nothing. I am going crazy now
My IP is still active and heard that if you fail the IP is removed. Has anyone had to wait more than 3 weeks and still passed? What was the hold-up in your case? Everyone in my class that has taken the test after me has gotten their results...I just don't get it!!!

Should see and will see are two different phrases. Depending on how busy that they are, and when they actually received your transcripts. Just because they received your friends transcripts at a certain time, doesn't mean that yours were received and processed at the same time.
It can take up to four weeks until you will hear anything, good or bad.

I certainly hope so! Today it is officially 3 weeks for me! I AM GOING TO GO CRAZY!!! I don't know what to think. I am getting really worried to, the longer my name doesn't go up on that screen, the more I think I must have failed. I have heard of people waiting as long as 6 weeks before they ever saw their name on the web site! AND they got their letters before that! Can you imagine! I suddenly feel sick... :uhoh21:
Well, I just checked online and still not there. My IP is still there. It is now 3.5 weeks. If I have to wait 6 weeks, that is just nuts. Lets hope we don't have to wait that long. Good luck!!! :)
Well lucky me! I called BRN today just because I couldn't stand it any more and I don't know if they recieved my transcripts for sure. Well, turns out what is holding it up is my live scan. For some reason it isn't back yet! HELLO! I paid for it the first week of April! AND I have never even had a parking ticket!! WHAT IS GOING ON WITH CALIFORNIA! :angryfire This is absurd, and not to mention the place that did my live scan, the entire classes live scan-must be incompetent or something! What else could be going on? The lady on the phone refused to give me my results, saying that I have to keep checking the web site! :angryfire I'd kinda like to know if I need to start flippin' burgers or what so I can pay my bills because if I don't pass-there goes that pretty little IP!

Same thing happened to me! I called today and they said it was my live scan missing as well! I did my live scan in feb!!!!!!!!!! crazy. Well I talked to this Yolanda lady and she said I could fax her a copy of my live scan and she would look in to it. So thats the story. I have the fax number if you want to try that??????????
You are kidding! They didn't even offer me the option of faxing it! She said she'd make a note to the "case worker" and have her "look into it". Ya, okay....Like I trust them NOW! I just had another one done yesterday by the local Sheriff's since it was a job requirement. I wonder if they could use that one? Or, if it has to be the original one that we sent them? I cannot believe that we have to pay for these things and they don't even get taken care of properly. Hopefully it will get cleared up but now we have to wait at least until Monday to even call them back I don't understand why they cannot just tell us if we passed or not. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE LICENSE NUMBER-THE WAITING IS KILLING ME! I just want to know if I have to sit through that sheer terror again or not!
Oh ya, can I get that number just in case! See what I get for ranting! lol :chuckle
Now do you see why I have been telling you to follow up with them to make sure that they have everything. It can be something as simple as them not having a photo, etc. They are not going to notify you if they are missing something, it is your responsibility.
Glad that you finally listened and got the info that you were waiting for. :)

OMG! After reading these posts I begun to think "Should I be worried too"???? I graduated from out of state and I've sent CA everything they asked me to submit..My transcripts were sent according to my registrar's office. I was assuming that when they issued me the letter stating I have met the requirements that it means they have everything that they need otherwise they would not be sending me that approval letter. I took my exam on 7/15 and to date I have not heard from them or seen my name on the license verification list. Maybe I should call them too to find out what's holding it up....I hate calling them too coz they take forever to pick up...Patience....patience......take a deep breath...... :uhoh21:
If you received that letter, then they have everything. :)
What you are hearing is from grads from CA schools. Ca actually permits them to write the NCLEX before the final transcripts are submitted as long as their name is on a list that the school sends in with the names of students expected to graduate.
On average they can take about two weeks to get a license posted, so give them another week or so. Sometimes the letter can even go out first....
p.s. If you need to phone them, best time is 9am their time.

Thanks, Suzanne!
That made me feel less worried...I'll give them a call monday just to make sure...It just make sense that in order for them to find me eligible is if they have what is required...Thanks, again :)
