  1. Sucks I know! I too was a NA for a long time. Now I'm at a new hospital and this one NA is constantly trying to tell me how to do my job. I get so sick of her attitude. But Just bear with it. I know she is testing me. so i'll just kill her with kindenss and do my job. We have to remember we worked way to hard for our licenses to have someone else put it at risk.
  2. Do as many practice questions as you can, I think I did 4000 in a 2 months time. I know it's a lot, but set a limit everyday, like 300 or something. And read why the answer is right. Saunders is the best, i did question and answer book, and the comprehensive review, as well as kaplan. Psycho I know.
  3. Oh. They won't tell you pass/fail but they can tell you if your missing anything in your file. Once I found out I was missing someothing it took only 2 days once I got it all worked out
  4. I had a friend wait 7 weeks! Her transcripts were not there. She tried to call several times as well. Next time you call tell them that you want to know if your file is complete tell them your job is waiting or something. I called after two weeks and they told me my life scan was missing. CA BON is slow depending on who your evaluator is. I know how you feel. Hang in there though it's probably a paperwork thing. Otherwise you would probably know if you failed by now.
  5. I would suggest bringing food with you though, they give you a locker for all your stuff. If your like me, it will be hard to eat that morning b/c you will be nervous. I took a break at 50 questions, took a deep breath and ate some snacks. No telling how long you will be there. If you get all 265, you will need to take a break to eat and drink. Remember to feed your brain!
  6. My best friend is my palm with all my drugs on it. It is a quick reference on the floor ( or in clinical) It gives the quick info on a drug. I used it to make flash cards in school. I use the epocrates program, you connect to your commputer every day and it will download new info, drugs, ect.
  7. At Stanford we have a new grad program. It is awsome. It gives you that extra support you need. We spend one 8hr day a week in classroom training. Going over things that we might see on the floors, so were more prepared. It's nice!
  8. Passed! Yeah! Thanks for all the support guys! 3 long long weeks!
  9. Hopefully they are the non "real test question" remeber you get 15 of those!
  10. Same thing happened to me! I called today and they said it was my live scan missing as well! I did my live scan in feb!!!!!!!!!! crazy. Well I talked to this Yolanda lady and she said I could fax her a copy of my live scan and she would look in to it. So thats the story. I have the fax number if you want to try that??????????
  11. Okay I called today at exactly 9am and got through. They said that they don't have my live scan finger print sheet. I know I sent it but they gave me a fax number and I faxed the copy I have in my file. I think what happened is that I got married and my live scan said my maiden name and everything else is my married name. Atleast I know now! A friend of mine called this am too and they said that they have not processed her transcripts, they said everything was there but just not processed. She asked them if they could do it and they said they would do it today and to check in 2-3 days. so there is probably some reason why you have a hold up. You may have to call a million times but try right at 9 am, I started calling at 8:55 and got through right when the clock turned 9. HOpefully I will have good news soon :)
  12. I know! I tried to call the board to today but I got a busy signal all day! I am also going crazy! A friend of mine has been waiting 4 weeks! Can you imagine! I'll lose my mind! I called my school and they said the transcripts were sent in early June! It is the worst feeling especially when people who took it after you have found out! I'm praying for everyone still waiting! SOON! Then we can brag :)
  13. Still waiting!!!!!!!! Hey atleast were not alone! We are all in the same boat. No news is better than bad news! I keep telling myself that :)
  14. Thanks for the support! It's comforting to hear that I'm not the only one going crazy! Hopefully I will have good news soon!
  15. There has got to be a better way! I am still waiting it's been 7 days. I have tried to call the Board but it is busy all the time! Good luck to everyone else still waiting. This is the most horrible feeling! I just keep telling myself, no news is better than bad news!
