Ca BRN Website License check?

I took my nclex last thursday, Oct 3, finished the exam at 2 pm and went on the Ca BRN website, apparently it went down on oct 3 for an update and the license verification just re-opened today Oct 8, I got the good pop-up / PVT, but i'm still not listed under the registry. Anybody know how long it usually takes to see your name on it? Thanks.

does the change affect LVNs as well ? I know it can take anywhere from 2-4 woks to receive your pass letter. But I know some people who have received their letters within a week of the test date. I took my nclex pn October 4th & got the good pop up. this process is taking soooo long. especially for LVNs being that after you wait forever and a day to get your pass letter you have to wait an additional Forever & a day to receive your license after MAILING in your payment -_- ... can we all just find out if we passed the same day & pay for license fees Online ??!!!!! they should never be this slow. we should all be applying for jobs right now , but can't .

I don't think the PVT has anything to deal with Breeze because they are two separate entities. Pearson Vue and the CA BRN.

I thought the same thing as well but remembered the two systems were different

Good to know! Just kinda stressing out, thinking the worst. I agree, the update to the system should make the process easier and more convenient, i almost wish they would implement the quick results in CA! well 11 days as of today and nothing yet. I'm praying to hear something soon. ill be checking here and there continuously for the next couple days. everyone keep us posted!

You know of people who passed RN in CA from 10/03 and on and are posted on Breeze?

Failing I can understand because there is no license for Breeze to post. I only know of 1 single person who tested since the change and passed and has posted, but the situation is a bit different.

what made their situation different? so far i dont know anyone who's gotten the good pvt after 10/3 that has received results yet. I guess it makes sense for those that have failed to get something so quick (which, i guess is a good indicator for us), but i can assume BRN is getting pretty back-logged at this point. Wonder how they are prioritizing everything?

Well, tested two weeks ago today (Oct 5th), computer shut off after 75 questions and got the good PVT pop-up (I check every other day, still getting the good pop up! LOL). Submission date Oct 9th according to board website. License is not on the board web site and nothing in the mail yet. Patience is called for I guess! I'll be glad to hear when some of you who tested a day or two before me start getting your results!

So they said approx 3 to 4 weeks. Those of us who took the test on the 3rd should be getting good news this week!

I don't know all of the specific details, but the license was manually entered onto Breeze. That's the single case I know of that has been processed to Breeze since the change. Other than that, nothing. License cards, i'm hoping, should be coming sometime this week for those who tested October 03rd. Can't wait to hear of any and all good news to hopefully come soon!

Unfortunately when I called the board I was told that we would receive our stuff in the mail before it was ever posted on line. I keep checking every day though! LOL Fingers crossed......

I tried from another route... I called Breeze. They told me that whenever a new licensing system is added to theirs (being BRN to Breeze in our case), it usually takes around 4-5 weeks for everything to smooth, not the 2-3 BRN is saying.

Sounding more and more like the mail will be the bearer of any good news long before Breeze

I've never been more happy for mondays! lol What's the waiting time on snail mail again? 2-4 weeks? or 5-6 weeks?

On a previous post, gbigstix said that a friend took it on 10/2 and found on 10/18 that she passed on the website. So maybe the BRN was correct in that it will take 2-3 weeks to post on the website. It must be just really delayed.

I think those who tested around 10/3 would probably find out soon given gbigstix's friend's story.
