Ca BRN Website License check?

Sorry admins if this is the wrong forum section;

I took my nclex last thursday, Oct 3, finished the exam at 2 pm and went on the Ca BRN website, apparently it went down on oct 3 for an update and the license verification just re-opened today Oct 8, I got the good pop-up / PVT, but i'm still not listed under the registry. Anybody know how long it usually takes to see your name on it? Thanks.

i took my nclex on 9th Oct around 8am ... i did pvt and it say contact board of nursing... i checked breeze system it says pending...and details shows status "open"....i dont knw what to do..

There isn't much we can do except wait. I'm trying to keep as busy as possible, but it still is burning in the back of my mind. Yesterday I got my resume tuned and all its missing is the license #. Today will be Halloween decorating.

I think that all of us are good considering the pvt good pop-up. I am very grateful though to have others in the same situation on here that I can talk/ share info/ vent to.

Yes, it's good to know that there are others out there playing the waiting game with me... not that it's fun. I got the 'good pop-up' as well. Breeze says 'pending', status is 'open'. Now I just wait for confirmation. Just hit the 2 week mark (tested Oct 3). I'm stalking the mail carrier and the Breeze site! Keeping busy, too, cleaning out cupboards that have needed cleaning since before nursing school.

my question is i understand that due to new verification system we all facing facing the delays ...but am wondering the postal mail delivery shouldnt be delayed as its a normal process ...am living in san diego ..and sacramento is not that far from the san diego ..friends of mine got ther result through mail after 4 days of exam in ther mail ...but now mail is also playing around ...those friends took exam in june

@NursePhilly, I tried to update a license into my profile too lol! I cancelled once my user # appeared. it was the next morning after I did that which the "license pending" made its appearance

Yeah I don't get it either. My classmates got their actual licenses or results in the mail less than a week after they took the NCLEX.

While the government shut down doesn't affect the California BRN, maybe it affects the post office. I don't really know. I have been watching my mail closely and they give me the mail like 5 hours later than they usually do. I wonder if the government shut down has delayed mail related things.

I just hope we hear something soon!

I called the brn again today and was told that it will take 2-3, probably 3 weeks ((from test date)) to hear anything by mail or Breeze and that it'll both probably happen around the same time.

Even though this is info that we already know, it makes me feel a tad better when I call lol.

Yes a classmate of mine tested the last week of September and had her actual card in the mail in just over one week!

@lazybone - that's the same screen I get. Tested Oct 5th. 75 questions and good PVT pop up.
