Ca BRN Website License check?

Sorry admins if this is the wrong forum section;

I took my nclex last thursday, Oct 3, finished the exam at 2 pm and went on the Ca BRN website, apparently it went down on oct 3 for an update and the license verification just re-opened today Oct 8, I got the good pop-up / PVT, but i'm still not listed under the registry. Anybody know how long it usually takes to see your name on it? Thanks.

I suggest that you register on the ebreeze, that's what I did. It will basically show your license under your profile after you register.[/QUOT

@jmira where does it show status pending? i created an account but i'm a little lost navigating their site lol.

Hi @nursephillyphil, I'm going to reply to you even though I'm not jmira. lol.

It's on the quick start menu. Scroll down to the bottom and on the left hand side you will see the heading "Applications" and under it is "Start a New Application or Take an Exam," "Finish Incomplete Applications," and "View Application Status."

Under "View Application Status" is where you see pending.

When I click on details it says my Submission Date was about 5 days after I took the NCLEX.

Yes what Tptm said. Bottom left of page. It just says BRN- Initial licensure by exam RN- Status pending. However I am unable to actually open the details box.

You just go onto Breeze website and create an account. It will ask the last 4 of ur ssn and is able to link your licenses to your user account

I also took my NCLEX-RN on October 3rd, in CA. No results yet. Though I heard that if you go to PearsonVue and try to re-register for the exam and it won't let you, then that's a good indication that you passed. It won't let me :) I've had classmates find out in 3 days with the old system. Patiently waiting!

I'm still hanging out there as well. Tested October 5th, continue to get good PVT pop-up and listed as pending on the Breeze website. The submission date is October 9th. Hopefully will receive something in the mail this week? Fingers crossed and will be sure to post here when I do finally hear.

for some reason i don't get the option to view status on Breeze? Don't know if i messed up somewhere on the application haha, but when searching for a RN license with my name i'm still getting no results. I took it October 3rd! Hopefully i'll get my license card in the mail today. Stay positive people! check that pv trick if it keeps you sane lol.

guys i took exam on 9th Oct around 8am in the morning ......my computer shut down at 85 and i was kinda of confident......i did that PVT trick .... it showed that your recently registered for further "assistance contact your board of nursing..........i did open the breeze system,,,under application it says "pending" i don't know ,,i am hell anxious my stomach in my mouth

Log into your pearsonvue account, make sure it says "delivery successful".

Attempt to re-register.

If you get a pop up that says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." that's the good pop-up. It's supposed to mean you passed (unofficially)

If it takes you to the credit card page it pretty much means you failed.
