  2. in CA it takes 4 weeks . usually Exactly 4weeks (2-3 days give or take) then after you mail in your Licensing Fee it's Another 4weeks for your name to post on the BVNPT website. then a week to receive your Hard Copy License. Myself and a few other ppl on here have been keeping track when we receive everything , ( we all passed around the same time) .

I send my resume out to jobs maybe 10-15 times a day. still have about 4 Apps to return to Facilities (I was waiting for my License number to Post , & it posted yesterday morning yayyy) . what area are you in . I'm in the Long Beach area & Redondo beach area. there are ALOT of LTC & SNFs in long beach !

  7. no unfortunately in California it can take up to 6 weeks for your license to post online & possibly another week to receive the physical license. It will be exactly 4weeks tomorrow that I have been waiting. I've tried applying but employers Verify your License online .
  8. I went Monday-Friday 7am -3pm Campus when I had clinicals 1st term it was 6am-3pm 3rd term (the last semester) clinicals were 6am-5pm everyday , with 1 campus day. then after I graduated I had IV class every Saturday . we had some loooong hours, but clearly it paid off because im a nurse now.
  9. @jakeroman86 tried to msg you back but it's saying your inbox is full. But No, I haven't received my License yet . Did you get yours yet ? I'm not sure how true this is but I've seen & been told your License comes before your name is posted to BVNPT. how true ?
  10. woooww !!! Congrats . Lucky youuu . I hope mine comes that fast.. probably not . lol
  11. DO NOT STRESS. lol kinda hard not to , I know . I took my exam OCT 4th, I passed , & am now waiting for my License to arrive -_- I'm here in California too . all I studied was Nclex-pn 3000 program (every single category). and Nclex Made Easy Book Q&A AND the 35 page Study Guide from off of here , BIGGEST HELP!!! It has cute rhymes and ways of remembering things. it has ALL the most important things you could have ever learned in nsg school. during Nclex I felt like I seen all the questions before. (because all I studied were Q&A from any and everywhere) it was pretty straight forward and nothing to really stress over.
  12. just sent my License Fee out on Monday , so it'll be quite some time before I receive it in the mail (3-4wks) I've seen people apply for jobs and send their resume to jobs AND get hired , all before they even had their License in hand . Has anyone done this? I at least want to start sending my resume out , but I'm not sure what should be in my resume , I have a lot of Retail experience which consume my entire resume but its not relevant to nursing at all. is that supposed to go on there or should I take it off ? I am so confused, should I put the volunteer work that I did during nursing school that's the only experience I have nursing wise. Help ! TIA
  13. Everyone pretty much wears running shoes, unless they are not in scrubs , From what u have seen.
