  1. What time is it and where's it located?
  2. I registered for the first one listed also. I'm so excited!
  3. Pepperoni 08 I was on the alternate list for Spring and didn't get in. I however did get in for Fall. Keep positive!
  4. Has anyone called and verified it's today?
  5. Did you ask why some got Emails and others didn't?
  6. You can't have piercing in and tattoos must be covered.
  7. Did everyone get Emails? I didn't get one.
  8. I applied with 70 points. I didn't do well on the TEAS either. I was studying for my LVN exit and couldn't study like I should have. I didn't take any classes because I just got a job as a new LVN, so I am a working nurse and I love it! I signed up for sign language this summer which will give me 75 points. I also can retake a general education class and get another 5 points. My sciences are 2 As 1 B and I can't do anything about that. I know I will get in within either this semester or next. Since I am moving forward I don't care if it takes me a little longer to get there. Also, if I don't get in I will take nursing 18 (I think ) and try to bridge. The bridge program will take me 1 year. However it works out I feel blessed.
  9. I was on the standby list for Spring, but I didn't get in. I did go to intake and the first day of class. At Intake, they go over everything you must get done: Vaccinations, physical, background check, list of books, uniforms, etc. They also give you a schedule of what time class will be and a list of cohorts for you to pick from. It's pretty exciting. Good luck everyone.
  10. No kaiser required at least 6 months experience. I did two clinical rotations there and it was amazing! It's really my dream location and I will start applying when I have the experience.
  11. I did the NWC Riverside program. It was a good program. You get to go to Kaiser and it's only a 30 mile radius for clinicals. It took me 1 month to find a job. I called career services 1 to 2 times a week to help me with the job search. I sent out 200 plus resumes. Some people I know are still searching. As far as bridging, you still need to have prerequisites done for that. It is more difficult to do an LVN to RN program than it sounds. I had all my prerequisites and general education classes done prior to doing my program. Now I need to take nursing 18 at my local CC. Once I finish that I can apply to the bridge program and they take very few each semester. I am also applying for the regular Fall ADN program. View all your options before you commit. These schools are very expensive, but for me it was worth it. I make good money and I love what I am doing.
