Butte College RN Program Spring 2020

I just applied for the first time for Spring 2020, but was reading other threads that said some people had to apply 7 times before getting in (that was in 2014 though)!!! Is anyone applying to the program for the first time or again? What seems to the number of times people are applying these days before they get in?

For those who are in Butte’s program or graduated from the program, how is it? Are the teachers good at teaching?

What?! Why are they possibly making us wait until October? My friend and I are on our 6th attempts. We’re used to it coming between 21-27 of Sept. huge bummer if it’s going to be a longer wait

This is my 7th try and every year for the past 3 years, the drawing has been around this time. So frustrating!

First time applicant here. Does anyone know the average wait time for LVN-RN program? Are some students having to apply 7 times just to get into the bridge program

Just checking in (because I only heard the Oct. 10th notification of the lottery here) has anyone heard? Time number 3 so not expecting anything.

I’m just going in straight RN but 7 times was the number I heard when I started. I’m not sure if anyone else has heard that it’s more now or not. I know it’s increased dramatically over the last several years. When my friend was looking at this program awhile back it was 2 times only.

Haven’t heard back yet, but this is my 6th time so I’m getting super anxious on the off chance that this might be my time.

When I first started, I was told it was 6 times, but now it seems to be 7 or 8 for the majority of people. Ugh. ?
