Butte College RN Program Spring 2020

Published

I just applied for the first time for Spring 2020, but was reading other threads that said some people had to apply 7 times before getting in (that was in 2014 though)!!! Is anyone applying to the program for the first time or again? What seems to the number of times people are applying these days before they get in?

Did any 6th or 7th time applicants get admission? I was on my 6th application and didn't get selected. Makes me wonder do 7th time applicants even get admission?

My friend and I were both on our 6th time as well, neither of us got selected.

My friend and I were both on our 7th try and we both got in.

Congrats!

This was my 6th as well and I didn’t get in either. But this means that it should be our turn next go round! And congrats to those who did get in!

Hi! Just applied for my 7th time for fall 2021. Does anyone actually know people getting in at 8? I hope not ??‍♀️

So far I think everyone I’ve seen on here has gotten in on 7. I hope it doesn’t increase! Just applied for my 4th time so just like 2 more years to go... good luck hope you get in this time!

I got in on my 7th try but can’t attend this Spring so my space was given to an alternate. I’ll be starting next fall instead now.

I reapplied for my 7th time on August 31st. Michelle, the program assistant, told me the lottery results would be out by the end of September. All my previous rejection emails were sent on the 21st and the 27th. I'm expecting to find out if I made it this week and the anticipation is killing me!! Has anyone had to apply more that 7 times before being accepted into the program?

I heard only one person on here that got weight listed on 7, which would be so frustrating. So I hope it doesn’t start to increase. I hope you get in.

I agree, I truly hope it stays at 7. It’d be nice if we were one of those lucky few. Unfortunately luck doesn’t run on my side so it’ll probably be the 7th for me. As for being beyond 7, I haven’t heard of anything beyond someone waitlisted.

@clmmpr This is my 7th time applying too! I am obsessively checking my email! I am so anxious ?

Did you get in? When I called today (6th time applicant) she said that seats go to 7th but that I may even have to apply an 8th time! I'm getting so discouraged.
