Busy BRN phone number?

I have submitted my NCLEX exam application almost 2 month ago and I don't see the $150 check being cleared yet. I began to call BRN phone number since last week and I am getting nothing but busy signal. I remember that it used to be picked up by computer and made me go through computerized responses and go to talk to representatives.

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

It's May. Lots of graduates (and in some states, license renewals) clogging up the phone lines. When I graduated a few years ago, I was on the phone with a live person IMMEDIATELY after graduating. Those who waited even a week couldn't get through, and, eventually, even the voicemail system wasn't available. I got my ATT first in my class, and I received my license first in my class. Others waited weeks.

There's a big delay, FYI. California BRN Provides Updates on RN Licensing Delays - California Hospital Association Not sure if you heard about this.

I haven't tried calling them, but my check just cleared, and I sent mine in about the same time you did. Keep looking for it! Good luck! I'm itching to get my ATT, because I have a job waiting for me when I'm licensed.

Yay! At least you're one step closer, and have a way to track it at this point. Mine just cleared Friday.

I'm hoping that the main backup has been cleared for the most part, but it looks like the BRN is working on apps whose checks were cashed in March. Bleh.
