Sadly, I will use this company as a reference because I worked here and remained through various different name changes and acquisitions by bigger organizations. When I started it was a small health care provider, now it's a mega company. I hope they don't bad mouth me if my next employer does not work out. I spent 27 years there.

I will try to cross my t, dot my i, but this attitude is making me loose my focus. I was actually thinking of withdrawing my resignation as they suggested. But now, it's go, go , goI hope I can make it without breaking apart. This is so painful.

I don't think I can get a reference letter. There are multiples managers who communicate and makes plans about who will take over my department or job. I do coordination and do case management for patients. The managers talk and all get on the same side with the plan. Now, there is some silence, but who knows about tomorrow. I have just been keeping quiet, with my head low. I think I have been bullied in my position, with higher patient loads than most nurses so I would get overwhelmed and leave by upper management. However, my direct
report manager wanted me to stay, then suddenly turned on me when I said no to staying. There are no laws against work place bullying. Very few unions in my state. I suspect my age may have something to do with this, but I don't have the time, money or will to pursue legal action. Also, this is very hard to prove. I just want to leave peacefully with a good reference. Sorry about spacing, using my phone today.

I don't know how to respond to this. Help.
I submitted resignation letter, a few days left to go. My manager accepted reluctantly, asked me to stay with the organization.
Suddenly today, she calls me to her office. She states she did not see me in my office all day. Strange, I saw her, but I did go out 3 times to visit some patients, drew some blood. I think someone provided this information to her. She appeared really angry. She did not ask, but I can provide proof of my visits. I used translator service and signed in to a long term facility twice.
She was having me give her report prior to my departure, then suddenly, she informs me there will be a 3rd party for me to provide report to. I know the 3rd party manager is a hot head, very unprofessional. Suddenly, I'm asked questions about patients like I did something wrong. How do I respond to this?
