Last year for March I did a Rainbow coming from a pot of gold but instead of gold it had fruits and vegetables in it and it said "taste a rainbow of colors" and had some info on eating fruits/vegetables of different colors and what each offers in terms of nutrients. Something like that. If I can find a picture I will post it

My whiteboard is split in half right now. One side talks about the importance of sleep and 5 ideas for better sleep. The other side is on Stress, signs of stress, things that fight stress, and ways to deal with stress. Of course, I deal with middle school and high school kids and these two topics are revisited often in my office :). March is a tough month as there are no long weekends and it feels like it lasts forever.
100kids - love your office, sounds like it was a colorful and beautiful board!
Thank you! I am always trying to find way to make my office and right outside my office more kid friendly. Not too inviting that they want to come and stay but less intimidating.

i did something similar to 100kids based off the 5-a-day eat a rainbow of fruits and veggies campaign from Dole from a few years back. I made a rainbow with pictures of the examples of the fruits and veggies suggested for the colors and made a pot of gold. The pot of gold was "a healthy and happy you" or something like that. I don't know if Dole still sponsors the eat a rainbow campaign but plenty of others have taken the idea and run with it:Healthy Eating Games and Award Winning Nutrition for Kids

I use the PE centrail bulletin boards website. They have alot of good ideas for health bulletin boards. Choosemyplate.gov is a good nutrition website to use for ideas and freebies.

My bulletin board right now is... "Find Treasure in a Healthy Diet", complete with pirate ships and treasure maps, and of course, a treasure chest full of healthy nutritious foods!
Love this idea! I will definitely use that in the future

My clinic is decorated with the Muppets, so next month I'm doing "healthy foods with the Swedish Chef".
I'll be honest though, I didn't even do any bulletins boards until this month. I had generic lice, hand-washing, and CPR information out, but it was just so not a priority for my first few months in the school setting! It's kind of nice to reach a point where I don't feel like I'm drowning, and can take time to do something fun.
