HI-

The whole nursing program is 5 semesters. So if you start this fall, you will graduate in may '10.

this is if you start in the fall, and not fail a single class.

First semester: pharm, process1&2 plus lab for each process & class from there on...

semester 2: medsurg1 & psych

semester 3: OB

semester 4: medsurg2 & Peds

semester 5: medsurg3 & trends

Just started the program at BCC North campus and I don't know what i'm doing. I need help in math (MTB class) and I need help on how to study for process I. Please help:bluecry1:

I'm at BCC North now! I can help you. PM me. Also, LRC, which is in the library, will be offering Nursing tutoring soon.

It makes me sick to my stomach just to know that next week half of those in my nursing process I class won't be around....just praying i'm not among that group. I'v been doing my best but just when I think I've caught up, I'm one step behind.

Hello everyone, I am happy to announce that I have passed my math class (MTB), my first process exam and as for TABE I'm still waiting for my results. :D Tonight I want to celebrate by getting a goodnight sleep. :zzzzzzzzz

no. this jan '09 class didn't have to take an entrance test. there is talk of adding an entrance test though. bcc's program is the easiest to get into in this area, but it has the repretation as being the most difficult to graduate from. it has the highest nclex success rate in the s fl area. you do take the tabe test, which is a basic adult education test which is used to award the ged.

no, infact bcc won't allow you to take it there until you're admitted on into the program. they may allow you to take it only through central campus or you can take it at pbcc and transfer it in. you don't have to take micro either before applying. however, i would reccomend that you take both before beginning the program if you can.

how is everyone doing at Broward College (formerly BCC!)??

Things at BC are going well for me. My grades are good (A's & B's). I'm completing my specialties now. I'm about half way through the program. My main concern now, what am I going to do when I finish school? I entered the program with the plan of eventually becoming an anesthetist. Now, I'm not so sure that I want to continue on that path. So, as I complete each course, I'm hoping that I'll encounter an area that I love.
