so you have 8 pts now, right? 7 for GPA, and 1 for Broward resident?

If you change the C to a B you will have 9 GPA pts, and 1 for broward resident, total of 10 pts

If you change the C to an A, you will have 11 GPA pts and 1 for broward resident, total of 12 pts.

12 pts is way better then 8, that would be great. Thank you Sunraygurl, you are so awesome for taking the time to help us right now :)

Can I ask how many points you had?? Mine still says in review :/

Sorry to reply so late, I had 17pts total (16 + 1 broward resident). I checked my email and there was nothing, all it showed was "accepted" when I clicked on my limited application link. But good luck to you...you should hear something very soon.:nurse:

oh man.

I am hoping you all get in the fall term!

I hate when people that really want to get in to nursing school don't get in. It breaks my heart because I have been in those shoes once.

but don't give up. keep trying until you make it.

wish you all the best of luck!

thanks Bumble!!! its sad that they decided to only take 75 students this term!!!

Well, the guy I know did not get in either. He had 12pts and is very disappointed...

Successful,

Smart that you applied to both schools! Good luck to you.

Thank you :) at least this time i have a back up plan instead of all the other 5 times I would just cry and be confused on what to do next. But I decided to look into the LPN program which is a year long and its going to be easier to get in BC with that license. I have to do this b/c I been waiting to long and just want to be in already b/c getting rejected 5 times is very disappointing and I even re-took some classes to get higher points and still nothing, so LPN is the next step.:oornt: Even though, I really did not want to go that route but what can I say when the semester I thought I was going to get in they decided to take the least amount of people which are mostly people with HOSA points:igtsyt:.

I just got the e-mail saying that they only accepted 90 students and 10% were alternates:banghead: and we should wait until april to check our e-mail to see if we got in. They say that every time and i never see it b/c I applied for January class and they only accepted people with 8 pts and higher but I had 7 pts and never received any e-mail, also I already have taken micro, child development, sociology and all that has to do with that tie determination.:flmngmd::crying2:

I didn't think you could replace your English grade?

I was told to take a higher level Chemistry, which I did to replace my B with and A. I asked about replacing my B in English and they said Chemistry was the only class that I could retake at BC, and if I wanted to retake an A&P class I could do that as long as it has a different prefix than BSC.

Keiser no longer offers classes to transient students. You have to sign up for a program and register for several classes. I looked into it already.

I'm not worried about the exam since I'm already working as a Paramedic, and I had really tough A&P teachers. I didn't make it in either :(
