Hello. Has anyone attending Broward College applied for the fall 2010 rn program as of yet??:thankya:

I know a girl who had the same problem..but she hadn't submitted her app yet so she was able to replace it. Try though things change every day with them. If I were you I would send an email to the dean of nursing. I sent her an email once and she replied with in the hour!

was jst at the info session the other day and we were told they exended the deadline this time to allowthe many students that were finishing their a&p classes the chance to finish befoe they take the hesi. Asst. Dean said they had manymany requests, so they honored. Also, they have added a testing location since many were not able to get appointment dates.

do u remember the name of the dean u emailed? cuz u know theres like 3 of them... one for each campus

That really sucks! I hope you can replace it and get more points. I am stressing because I applied for May and didn't get in with a 3.35. Everything happens for a reason so I am hoping we all get in this time around.

yea it sucks lots! u shud be able to get in with that. ppl got in wit 3.2 for january and last august. and if you are a broward resident u get an extra point so thats like a 3.4

so i finally got the answer ive been looking for! i emailed health sci. admissions about my little dilemna via broward's online chat form and this is the response i received:

"thank you for your interest in the registered nursing (rn) program at broward college.

changes can be made during the application period only. once the application period closes, you cannot make any changes. we will substitute any three (3) credit chemistry for chm1032.

we wish you continued success in your educational goals."

this was a big relief. so looking forward to taking my new chm class in 2 weeks and [hopefully] acing it.

does anyone know how to get a copy of their hesi results. You have to submit a copy with your app. I took it 2 weeks ago and I just wanna turn in my application already
