Broward College Nursing (Starting August 2019)

Hello, im a perspective nursing student seeking to enter Broward's program in August by submitting my application in May 2019. I am deathly afraid I won't get in I keep feeling as if im under qualified. I got an A in anatomy lab/lecture 1. Im finishing my Anatomy 2 I should have a A in lab come the end of this semseter (may 16th) but the lecture may be a C. Broward only accepts one attempt of each and my english grade is an AP credit so it won't be added to the equation. So far the GPA calculation is giving me 3.2 to 3.5. I'm not gonna get in aren't I? I am planning to take the HESI come 2 weeks from now (btw do they give immediate results?) and have to score an 80 so any concrete help with that would be great. I just need to know from anyones personal experience have they gotten in with a low anatomy score and whether or not I should fake get my hopes up.

Does anyone remember what was said in the Pre-admissions meeting concerning flu shots? I unfortunately vaguely remember. Correct me, but didn't they say we don't get them til August? Because I know there's a spot for it on COMPLIO. But I'm unsure.

About how long did the background check take to come back?

Don't worry about it now. Not due until around September and Complio already has it set to approve until the flu season opens.

Has anyone done the 6 hrs TB/OSHA/Hepatitis. Is the 2 hour Hepatitis for Hepatitis C? Or, is it suppose to be a general Hepatitis CEU? Only the Hepatitis C coming up for me on CEUfast.

I did hepatitis C beyond the basics 2.5 hours , Tb 2 hours, and OSHA 2 hours in Ceufast.

Flu Shots aren't available until sometime in August. You should get it by September 1st or so
