Broward College Nursing (Starting August 2019)

Published

Hello, im a perspective nursing student seeking to enter Broward's program in August by submitting my application in May 2019. I am deathly afraid I won't get in I keep feeling as if im under qualified. I got an A in anatomy lab/lecture 1. Im finishing my Anatomy 2 I should have a A in lab come the end of this semseter (may 16th) but the lecture may be a C. Broward only accepts one attempt of each and my english grade is an AP credit so it won't be added to the equation. So far the GPA calculation is giving me 3.2 to 3.5. I'm not gonna get in aren't I? I am planning to take the HESI come 2 weeks from now (btw do they give immediate results?) and have to score an 80 so any concrete help with that would be great. I just need to know from anyones personal experience have they gotten in with a low anatomy score and whether or not I should fake get my hopes up.

Hi, I applied for Aug 2019 and I don't think your GPA is low to get in. I think the last day for submitting the application is May 30th. The Hesi scores are giving to you after you finish the exam.

North campus. I did all my classes there and it is close to my home.

So wait, can I apply to multiple programs? If I wanted to apply north and central would that require 2 applications and 2 fees?

Well, I am not really sure how that works, but I left my application at north hoping I can get a seat in that campus. I am not sure if they choose what campus you go or at the time of the acceptances they tell you.

Hello,

I plan starting the program fall of 2019.

I plan on attending central campus

Does anyone have some advice?

What books and chapters should I start reading?

What are some tips for time management?

What are some great study habits?

Can someone also provide me with a list of books for central campus?

I am purchasing material.

If anyone has books and material for sale please private message me.

I am also looking to purchase uniform I am a size small

Hi,

I am also looking to apply for fall, and am only required to retake hesi for math and anatomy & physiology sections since I took prior at palm beach state but I have heard that broward's hesi is much easier. I will be retaking that next week and aiming to submit my application soon after taking the test. Do you remember much of what was on the math and A&P section?

You choose your campus only when you register for classes, and it is first come first serve. Central and North fill up the fastest I heard.

How many classes we have to register 6? Can we register online or we have to wait they tell us? I did all my classes at BC and we have a calendar for registration every semester.

6 because you register for the whole semester. You have to be accepted first then they send you an email with course numbers
