Broward College Nursing (Starting August 2019)

Hello, im a perspective nursing student seeking to enter Broward's program in August by submitting my application in May 2019. I am deathly afraid I won't get in I keep feeling as if im under qualified. I got an A in anatomy lab/lecture 1. Im finishing my Anatomy 2 I should have a A in lab come the end of this semseter (may 16th) but the lecture may be a C. Broward only accepts one attempt of each and my english grade is an AP credit so it won't be added to the equation. So far the GPA calculation is giving me 3.2 to 3.5. I'm not gonna get in aren't I? I am planning to take the HESI come 2 weeks from now (btw do they give immediate results?) and have to score an 80 so any concrete help with that would be great. I just need to know from anyones personal experience have they gotten in with a low anatomy score and whether or not I should fake get my hopes up.

I will be starting the Nursing program FALL OF 2020 , I know I am a bit late but I have been reading all of your comments and I have found them very helpful. Has anyone purchased shoes yet? I looked up the sketchers with the memory foam that the other nursing students mentioned during orientation, however, I see that they have a little bit of silver on them.... I can't seem to find "all white" ones. Let me know if you all found any please! Thanks!

Has anyone here Taken the HESI at Broward college ? I have the Hesi admission Assessment review Book and I was wondering should I grab another book to study from

I read through the book maybe a month and a half before the exam, after taking I felt like that book gave you what you needed and a lot of filler to boot. If you can do basic cup to gallon conversions, the metric system, and how to do math with a calculator; you should be fine. The grammar/reading based questions aren't world ending take it seriously though and eliminate answers until you find the best, that will help you down the road. Knowing your anatomy as well the layers of the systems and the basic functions, the stuff you don't know make sure you know it. They ask questions from 1 and 2 and it is a long test so don't let it burn you out.
