Broward College Nursing (Starting August 2019)

Published

Hello, im a perspective nursing student seeking to enter Broward's program in August by submitting my application in May 2019. I am deathly afraid I won't get in I keep feeling as if im under qualified. I got an A in anatomy lab/lecture 1. Im finishing my Anatomy 2 I should have a A in lab come the end of this semseter (may 16th) but the lecture may be a C. Broward only accepts one attempt of each and my english grade is an AP credit so it won't be added to the equation. So far the GPA calculation is giving me 3.2 to 3.5. I'm not gonna get in aren't I? I am planning to take the HESI come 2 weeks from now (btw do they give immediate results?) and have to score an 80 so any concrete help with that would be great. I just need to know from anyones personal experience have they gotten in with a low anatomy score and whether or not I should fake get my hopes up.

Thank you so much. I'll check it out!

Please do not do your physical before the session... You can make the appointment for after the preadmissions meeting but do not complete anything before.

Please do not go and just get the immunizations. You need to have blood work done BEFORE you get the shots to see if you even need them. This is why we asked that you do not complete your physical prior to pre-admissions.

Today was great!

Im so excited to do the Pre nursing course. I know math will be the death of me so I can’t wait to hear when they send out the email to sign up. I’ve been studying for the program already but this will be more beneficial.

I was so surprised to hear that registration is 75 students per campus except for south who’s in the 50’ s or so. I’ll definitely be up and on my laptop by 7:58AM on wednesday for registration ? .

Here’s two tips I have for you all. CEUFAST is cheaper than Rn.com for certifications. Rn. com is $48 and Ceufast is $30

Also here’s the contact info for who I took my CPR in class course with it was $50. ( No additional fees for the course). Also Mercy Hospital does it as well for $50 which is a flat fee also.

Hey everyone I had to reschedule my preadmissions due to a prior commitment, can anyone tell me a bit about what happened so I don’t walk in blind next week? I wanna get the jump on what I need and what I need to know. Im already CPR certified, what else do I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance
