Broward college nursing program 2020

Published

Hello!

I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

Specializes in L & D/Post partum CNA.

If you are accepted, you attend pre-admissions and we will go over everything. At the time of registration, you pick your campus. Seats are limited on each campus. This is the only time you will compete for a seat on a campus. Once you register for that campus, you will attend the same campus for the duration of the program.

Hello Nicole! I was wondering how we would compete for a seat on a campus? How would that be determined? Thank you!

Mine also says 10/10 at 1pm. I guess there are multiple meetings.

I got the acceptance email and I can't stop shaking. Also, does anyone know how long the orientation runs for? I know it starts at 9, but I was just wondering when it will end since I have lab at 10 am. It seems like I might just have to make up my lab on another day if the meeting lasts for multiple hours haha ?

The meeting is between 2 and 2.5 hours. Respond back if you have a conflict.

So, I'll just speak with my professor about making up my lab on Wednesday so I can attend the meeting on Thursday. Thanks for clarifying! I am so excited for next week! ?

Email me to discuss.

Just some clarification:

Emails that were sent yesterday are for the FULL TIME RN PROGRAM in January. Part time emails will go out later this week.

There are two sessions, please attend the session you were assigned as sessions are at capacity for the room. If you cannot attend, please email me to discuss.

Hello Nichole, I just sent the email. My real name is Briana and the subject of the email is "Questions About Pre-admission Orientation Sessions"

Ms. Nichole,

I just registered for my Complio account, can I complete my fingerprinting before pre-admissions?

I registered also and I keep receiving action required for the finger prints and just received one saying I'm non-compliant...

Yes, you can complete the fingerprinting and drug screen prior to preadmissions. Please do not do anything with the physical or immunizations, etc until after the session. I will go over everything for that then.
