Broward college nursing program 2020

Published

Hello!

I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

Hi all:

Important reminders: DO NOT do anything with your physical or immunizations until AFTER the pre-admissions session. You can make your appointment for any day after the session. Just so you know now, FLU vaccine is MANDATORY (I have received some emails regarding this).

Dress Code:

I have been receiving a lot of emails regarding dress code. We do not have a set dress code, however, we ask that you come dressed appropriately.

NO: see through clothing, short shorts, low cut tops, etc. nothing inappropriate (basically don't look like you are going out to the club).

Jeans are fine, sandals are fine. Shorts are fine as long as they cover everything that needs to be covered. If work in the medical field, and are going to or coming from work, to the session, scrubs are fine.

If you are unsure if you should wear it, don't.

If you have any questions, shoot me an email.

See you all soon!

Got it! Thank you for all the info Nichole!

Thank you so much for the info! Can you please send the study guide and everything else? I'm applying for 2020 term August.

Is anyone planning to use CEUFast for their courses? I can't seem to find the TB/OSHA/Hep B course.

Yes! I just purchased it last night. If you search broward college, it’ll come up what courseS to take. Here is a screen shot. I verified it with Nicole earlier.

The TB/OSHA/HEP C add up to 5 hours but BC is requesting 6.00 hours. Can we still use this?

I was on the same boat here guys! Thanks for the info!

Dolly! It does say 5 hours on that screen shot but when you look up the courses TB =2 OSHA =2 and HEP= 2.5. So actually it's 6.5 hours.

Incase anyone is wondering. RN.org is $19 and Ceufast.com is $30.

I couldn’t find one of the courses on RN.org. So I went with CEUfast. I don’t remember which now.
