Broward college nursing program 2020

Published

Hello!

I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

Yes! Praying we get it and you took the HeSi? I’m taking it next month.

Yes I took it last month and passed, studied my butt off lol. Really wanted to get it out the way and concentrate on the last pre reqs next semester.

That’s awesome. I remember you posted something about that. Would you be able to send me the study guide if you still have it please.

Sure. What's your email?

Has anyone had their physical/titer tests/vaccines yet? Looking for an affordable place since Im not insured at the moment. If anyone knows of a place please share! Thanks!

I had mine done at Family practice of Davie ph# 954-616-2020. I dont really know how much it cost self pay but they can get you in same day. I went the day of orientation and just received my call to go back for the results. Give them a call.

Also, you can try with the health department. I know there is a clinic across the street from the Swap Shop and the 7th ave clinic that use an income chart but you have to go or call asap as I am sure their appointments fill up quickly.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks so much! I also found one in Hollywood but I’m going to call the ones you mentioned to get some prices. Thanks!

Today is the day we get our reference numbers! Everyone ready to choose your campus? I live across the street from Central. I will be up early to make sure I secure my spot!

Yes I am so excited to pick my campus! Funny thing is I have class at 8am tomorrow so I had to let my teacher know I was going to be late because this is like priority! ?

Lol it is priority! I got a call from financial aid department, the connection wasn't so good and I couldn’t decipher what she was saying. I literately jumped in my car and got there in 2 min to see if there was some sort of issue or hold that would prohibit me from registering... She just want to let me know they will switch my degree to AS in December.... I’m paranoid! Haha.

Hey guys, I am also starting in the Jan 2020 class. I was wondering if anyone has gotten the reference codes yet? Does anyone know which campus works with memorial hospital for clinicals?
