Hello!
I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

I thought I was good to go, as I was already accepted into the program once before, but found out that they now require college algebra. When I asked if I could sign up for the 8-week course this semester (which I have done, and am waiting for it to start), they told me I couldn't apply until the course was finished.
Did you find this to be true? Am I misunderstanding you?
That is correct. The math course needs to be complete prior to applying. Years ago the math class that was required was MAT1033. However, curriculum and accreditation changes state it has to be a College Level Math Class (MAC1105, MGF1106, MGF1107, STA2023, etc).

Oh gosh! I am so nervous! I've worked really hard this and it's been a long time coming. Obstacles over obstacles! Hopefully we will all know soon! Good luck! Anyone interested in attending the Central campus?

I’m leaning towards Central or North. Central is my first choice though.

I am so nervous too!! I've had every obstacle possible come up as well. At time it has been a bit disheartening but I am sure it will make us better nurses ?

Currently, I am taking my Lab with Professor Levine and my Lecture with Professor Khan at central. Also, thanks for posting the application criteria because for a second there I was super scared my application would be void. haha, but everything seems to check out.
