Hello!
I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?
@ndrullard thank you for that update. We will then have to wait the 30 business days for a decision correct?

Not necessarily. We are shooting for early October for decisions to go out.
@ndrullard are the hesi scores used at all for admission competition or is it just passing with an 80?

It is an admissions requirement. Everyone has to pass with an 80% or above. Admissions is done by a points system and points are only awarded for your pre-requisite GPA.

1-16 points are awarded depending on your prerequisite GPA. 5 additional points are awarded to veterans and active duty military applicants with proper documentation.
