Broward college nursing program 2020

Published

Hello!

I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

The overall science I don’t how to calculate that to be honest. With the 5 classes they choose the advisor said 2.8 because of that English if that’s what your referring to. Hesi was an overall 95.5. Lowest grade I got was a 92 in Reading and Grammar.

That's good you can try Miami Dade if they dont accept you

Miami Dade requires chem and bio I think for their Hesi and you have to take it their. I also have to take anatomy since it’s been a while since I took it. But yes definitely an option

I haven’t received any points yet. Although we are super early in turning in our applications. Do you know how long it takes for them to update that information?

Hi! @ktorres773 I will be finishing up my pre reqs in Jan and hopefully joining the program in Aug next yr. These are great tips for the Hesi, thank you for sharing!! I would like to take the test before I start school in Jan so that I can focus on A&P 2 to get that A!! Question, is the anatomy portion of the Hesi for A&P 1 or for both 1 & 2. I wanted to see if I could take it before finishing A&P 2. Also could you please send me the A&P study guide, [email protected]. Greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, quick question. Do you know which questions you get wrong on the test?

I am looking forward to the nursing program passed all my classes but still need to take hesi. I will be taking it at the end of the month. Would you be able to send me study guide @ktorres773 [email protected]

Weird, I replied to this thread yesterday from phone but it doesn't look like it sent. I am applying to BC for Spring of 2020.

Going back to school after a BA and terminal Master's in another field, and a few years of teaching college.

Two questions:

I am taking HESI a2 next week. I'm using PocketPrep tests and have taken several practice tests and have seen nothing on conversions from ounces, tsp, TBSP, to metric, or nursing measurements (drams, etc.). How intricate were the conversions? So far I have only seen cups/pints/quarts/gallons on practice tests.

Also, does anyone know about applying to different campuses? I can't see where school website explains about attending different campuses. Are they on different start dates?

Thank you. Good luck to everyone, and if you want to send me the study guide, you can send it to [email protected].

Thank you for all this information! i am a prospective student for BC in January 2020 and hopeful to take the exam next week. Any chance you can send it to my email as well? [email protected]

Hi can you please email me your study guides and your resources as well. I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much. [email protected]

Sincerely,

Lissette
