Broward College Nursing Program January 2021

I am a prospective student for the BC nursing program in January 2021. Is anyone else planning to apply? I know it will be a bit different than normal due to Covid so I wanted to see where everyone was at in the process. Have you taken the HESI yet? I am wrapping up the last of my prerequisite classes now.

@Lolura0 Oh, I see. I didn’t even realize that we chose our own classes. I thought they would be automatically assigned.
I can’t wait to see if they will open up the campus in January for classes!

You don't pick your own classes. You get to pick your campus and/or dates and times of classe, but you are given the required classes to take.

I tried taking the HESI yesterday, and I wasn’t able to cause the HESI secure browser wouldn’t work. Did you use chrome or windows to take the exam?

@FutureRN_2022 Hi! Yes, I believe I downloaded Chrome to take mine (my normal internet browser is Safari). Which browser were you trying to use? In my opinion, the whole "online HESI" process is a bit more difficult than it should be.

@DisneyNurse OMG yes it’s harder than I thought it would be. I used chrome, every time I would try it would say “no license delivery” I ended up having to reschedule cause HESI and proctor u were useless when I called them. They told me to call broward college ?
