Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Hi Gemini and Brittany,

Please follow the link: Class Schedules

None of us are able to register until 0800 11/08, but without signing into MYBC you can check the class schedules for any classes that BC offers for the upcoming term.

Gemini - when you are ready to register tomorrow - you can enter the course number and search for your specific class id code (nur1020) or you can enter the specific code into the registration screen. There should be a box that requests 'course reference number' It will accept your 6 digit id for the course. Please see below

I hope that helps

Yes, thank you!! That cleared up a lot. One more question though.. Are the differnece reference #s for different classes.. such as the one for the math... or are they both the same classes just different times and/or professors. I am wondering why there are so many different reference #s under one particular course id and if each one is differnet. Thanks a lot!!!

Sorry, but the formatting on the above post is not coming out correctly. There should be 5 boxes next to the font "Reference Number:' You would enter your provided reference numbers here. I hope that helps you Gemini. I'm sure it will make more sense to you once you see it tomorrow. Good luck

Do not search for the classes! You will end up registering wrong! You need to use the reference numbers provided by the campuses. There is boxes where you can enter the actual reference number when you are logged into your MYBC account.

The only classes with multiple reference numbers should be the labs. That is because only a certain number of students can be assigned to one clinical professor.

I just signed up for my classes. My problem is that I am still under an AA. Do I need to switch it over to AS myself or will that be done by the staffing? I plan on going to central campus. Thank you!

All signed up - Thank God!!! Any other victims for Central out there? :)

Am all sign up.... for north... I could't register for 562133---It was restricted...... I am wondering why... I opted for the next...

Nichole,

why are some of the process 1 classes restricted? i really needed the morning class for process 1 at north but it was restricted and i was forced to take the afternoon class :(

Central campus right here! Good luck fellow students and future nurses! :-)

OMG!! It's done..
