Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.
I had a 3.09, 92.8% HESI score, and I applied super early. I wasn't chosen as an alternate.... That's why I'm a little confused.
Email me [email protected] and I will look at it on Monday
I think they look at the Hesi scores at that point as a tie breaker if they have the same GPA. Maybe other things too, but I am not sure. Also My question is if our applications have been moved to May, due to not being accepted this term, do we have to pay another application fee?
No, you don't pay the app fee again.
CONGRATS to all of us who got accepted!
To those who didn't due to a low GPA and are looking into retaking a class to boost up their GPA, I highly recommend it. Yes, Keiser is very expensive, but it is also cheaper than other private institutes out there. I paid $2,400 to retake my AP 1 with Lab. I took it during summer (4 weeks) and passed with an A. That boosted up my Pre Requisite GPA from a 2.7 to a 3.6. So go for it! I didn't get in last term (August 2016), BUT I did get accepted this term. So it is well worth it!
Who has orientation on November 9th at 9am? I DO!
Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring someone with to your Pre-Admission Mandatory Meeting/Orientation? I want to bring my father so he knows how everything goes and what the next steps are.
Seating is limited. If you do being someone, they will have to wait outside until we see if there are seats available after everyone checks in.

Hi All...I was stalking the thread....Congrats to those who were accepted. For the alternatives you never know some probably will not be able to accept for one reason or another....for the others whose app is still in review for May 2017 keep hope alive...do what you need to increase your chances and May just might be your time...if you're meant to be a nurse you will be...PS Its so awesome that you have Nicole...It just goes to show her dedication and understanding...PSS one of the previous post stated you do not have to pay the application fee again for the next term...
