Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Im betting it will be Friday since the office is closed both days, so do yourselves a favor.. have a glass of wine, and forget about it until friday at 5:00pm. We will all be excepted I'm sure!! Can't wait!!

What is CAE?

CAE or CEU certificates are your continuing education certs like HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, etc. We will go over them at pre-admissions for everyone who is accepted.

I won't be doing any of them until after orientation. I'd like to get the maximum time out of their expiration.

I completed those while in phlebotomy training last month. Would i still need to do them or can they be applied to this program also?

If they have the Florida Board of Nursing number on them, are the correct hours, and are not expired, most likely you will be able to use them. If accepted, you will check with the campus program office on which you register.

I'm so excited! I have been reading up on prescription drugs. Refreshing on some parts of my anatomy book... Adding supplies to my Amazon cart. Even if I don't get in.... May will be my term lol (positive vibes) :laugh:
