Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Does the status change if you were not accepted?

If by the time everyone's status changes yours still says application in review, then you were not accepted. I wouldn't worry about that if I was you, you have an exceptional gpa but good luck to you anyways !

Unfortunately, no the status does not change.

Let me add on to that:

For students who are being invited, status will change to PADM (Pre-admission)

For students who are being invited AS ALTERNATES, status will change to ALT (Pending Seat Avail.)

For students who are not being invited for January, your status will stay in REVW (review). If we exhaust our alternate pool, and still need students, we will revisit the pool of students in review for January. Should we find we do not need to go back into the pool of students, the applications will be moved to the May applicant pool.

All students will receive an email regarding their status.

Please be patient. I know, easier said than done.

Im hoping from 2.6 up!! I'm so nervous I was so upset when I didn't get in last semester

You're telling me. Every minute I get upset at myself for not accepting my seat for May term. I wouldn't be going through this right now if I did.

i was stalking the last January term and someone got in with my gpa of a 2.7!! I was like omg I hope this term is like that too
