Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.
Just a quick question and to get clarification. If we have no points and our status says "transcripts not evaluated" would our application status update soon to maybe just let us know everything is fine and we're just waiting on desicions ? Or would that status just update all together once desicions are out?

That means we sent your transcripts for evaluation. They may be evaluated already.... we will go back through students in that status and update them before decisions are made. It is not an automatic update.
Before decisions are made, if you are eligible, your status will show application in review.
Good morning everyone:This will probably be my last post until after decisions are made.
First and foremost, I am asking that you be patient. There are always a lot of RN applications to go through. We are working hard to make sure everyone is updated before we make decisions.
If you do not hear something by mid October, then I would suggest you email me. Not today, not next week, but AFTER October 15. Regardless of if you are accepted or not, you will receive some sort of communication from the Health Science Admissions team.
I ask that you do not email regarding your status or if the points you have are enough to be accepted. The more emails we receive asking about a status or if we "think" your points are enough, the less time we have to process those RN applications
If you have a real concern, then by all means, email me.
Good luck,
Nichole
october 15th is a Saturday, so decisions now go out on saturdays?

No, I did not say decisions would go out on October 15. What I said was if you did not receive any communication from us by that date, to email us.
I used the date because it is MID OCTOBER, not because it was a specific day.
Mine still says pre program application. I'm getting so nervous. I wish we could find out Friday coming
what is the term date on your application saying? I'm asking because my friend had that same issue and it turns out the application date on her application was saying 20153 and not 20172

If the status says pre-program, we have not updated the application yet so the term is irrelevant. Once we get to the application and update it, it will reflect 20172.
