Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Lol yeah I was bummed when I read that but Nichole did say it probably wouldnt be until the first week of October at the earliest.

I think they do the updates on Fridays. so maybe the 7th but probably the 14th.

"Please do not complete the medical history or background check. If you are accepted into the program, you are given enough time to complete them. if you have already completed the other items on the list, please ignore the email. Decisions will be out by 10/15/16. Please continue to monitor your BC email."

October 15th is only a little over two weeks away. Come on guys, we've got this. We have to remain strong in confidence and know that are almost there. Good luck to you all. I'm as excited as the rest of you. :)

Yeah but some of us are really anxious especially us who have been waiting since last semester who didn't get in!

i believe january classes start on the 9th

I'm anxious and nervous because I want to start putting things into play or at least figure things out as far as work. I'm a mother of two and a wife so this will be a huge sacrifice for 18mo and I want to make sure I'm well prepared

I can completely relate to how you feel. I feel stuck. I have some much to plan and organize . I still need to workout how I can give my parents legal custody of my children in England but I don't want to plan it until I know I got in.

i will work a part time weekend job. Fortuneately for me, I am using my Post 9/11 GI Bill so i get a housing allowance monthly that supplements my income so I can keep my work lid low
