Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

If your application fee says N/A it means you paid.

Hello everyone! I turned in my nursing application yesterday and have a 3.63 prerequisite GPA and a 90% overall on the HESI. The lady that helped me said decisions will go out the first or 2nd week of October.

Good morning everyone. I'm the one that created the thread so we could all get through this process together. I have a 3.0 gpa. 2 more days till the closing of the application

so it's not the end of September to the first week of October anymore? The agonity í ½í¸²

thank you so much lexxa25! I turned in my application last Thursday and they told me deadline to turn in applications is still the 15th. I hope they don't extend the date again like they did last term :( They also told me decisions will be sent out by the end of September / first 2 weeks of October... where's the fast forward button?!? :uhoh3:

I turned in my application at north campus, no updates yet. t-2 days to for applications to close.

Crossing fingers. I have already started reading. I bought the new edition book Perry Potter 9e Fundamentals of Nursing on Amazon for $113. I have two friends in the programs and they advise me to start reading and getting acquainted with the material. So far I have gone through Vitals, Hygiene and safety. I am going read over. The more I am reading the book the more I am understanding the nursing process.

Hi

I also applied for January 2017!!! I have a GPA of 3.72 and my HESI score was 90%. I am very nervous though. I applied 2 weeks ago and on mybc it still says N/A under payment, hesi score etc. has anyone else's limited seat application updated? even though i applied in person i am freaking out.

I wouldn't stress. I turn mine in from July. The lady told me they would not be looking at any applications because they were more focused on Fall semester and the deadline is September 15th. Stay positive, from the looks of your GPA, I do not see what would hinder you.

Hi guys! I'm just posting this to anyone who is looking for roomates at the beginning of the January 2017 program. I applied to the North campus, and i think i have a pretty good chance of getting in. I currently live in Orlando and am looking for options to live when i move down there. Does anybody have any ideas? I understand that being in the nursing program can limit the amount of time that one can work (I'm aware some people can work full time jobs while in school, but i am definitely not one of those people) I would love to hear your advice! Or like i said if anyone else is in the same situation :)

When you apply to the RN program, you are applying to the program, not a campus. There is no where on the application to select a campus for Nursing, nor does the campus you submit your application to have any baring on where you will attend.

Your campus is not selected until registration, should you be admitted.

Health Science Admissions

Hi Nichole, I read your post that the process of applying is changing. I have to turn in my application, would I be turning this in at Health Admissions office or Health Science Department? Thank you for all your help! :)

Applications are turned in to the Health Science Admissions offices.

TWO more days possibly until they start reviewing at applications! :inlove:

Good luck to all!

Also, I was wondering to those to retook a class at Keiser, did your class show up on your degree audit yet? For some reason only the classes I took at Broward in the past from dual enrollment are showing up and not the classes I transferred in from PBSC and the one from Keiser. I do see that my transcripts have been received when I check under "Transcripts Received Info", I just can't seem to view them though.

Just submitted my application. Uber nervous!!!
